At Bring Me 2 Life, we believe that tuning into the moonās cycles can awaken your soulās wisdom and help you return to your truth. Hereās how to create sacred space and truly receive what the Full Moon has to offer.
Our Co-found Shannon Shine offers Virtual Full Moon Ceremonies and we would love to not only invite you to participate but also get yourself up for the best experience! Below you will find more tips on how to prepare yourself for a Full Moon Ceremony.
⨠Why the Full Moon Matters
Each Full Moon acts like an energetic spotlight, revealing whatās been hidden, whatās ready to be released, and where your next soul growth wants to emerge. Itās a natural moment to pause, breathe, and ask:
What am I ready to let go of?
What have I learned this cycle?
What am I being called to embody next?
š§āāļø How to Create Sacred Space
Sacred space isnāt about perfectionāitās about presence. Whether you have an altar or a quiet corner, hereās how to elevate your space for a ceremony:
Cleanse the Energy:
Use smoke (sage, palo santo, or incense), sound (a bell, chime, or singing bowl), or intention to clear any stagnant energy.Set the Mood:
Light a candle, dim the lights, and play soft music or ambient sound to help shift into a ceremonial state.Add Meaningful Objects:
Crystals, oracle cards, flowers, or sacred symbols can help you feel grounded and connected.Have Tools Nearby:
A journal, pen, and a cozy blanket go a long way. Water or herbal tea can be a lovely grounding element too.
š What to Do During the Ceremony
Your full moon ritual can be simple or elaborateāfollow your intuition. Here's a suggested flow:
Ground In: Begin with deep breaths or light movement. Feel yourself arrive.
Reflect & Release: Journal on what you're letting go of. Write it down, then (safely) burn or tear the page.
Call In Light: Speak intentions aloud or meditate on what you wish to embody.
Close the Space: Thank the moon, your guides, and yourself. Blow out the candle or ring a bell to seal it with love.
