The couple reminisces about exploring local art museums and galleries, where Shannon fell in love with an installation, Through the Veil, by Lillian Blades —a breathtaking piece that perfectly captured the spirit of creativity and depth she felt throughout the trip. The galleries featured an inspiring mix of Greek sculptures, symbolic paintings, and vibrant mixed-media displays that sparked endless inspiration. Shannon even brought a piece of that energy home — quite literally — when she found a beautiful ring from a Greek jeweler that reminded her of the experience.
Outside the art scene, Shannon and Selo soaked in all the beauty Florida had to offer — from sunrises and sunsets by the ocean to collecting seashells, enjoying botanical gardens, and savoring delicious local food. Selo shares his love for spotting Florida wildlife —from lizards to the one lucky squirrel he encountered —and recalls the sound garden as one of the most unique and relaxing places they visited.
