Blessed Summer Solstice and Litha to all.

Being of Celtic heritage, I am always interested in how the Celts celebrated days like this. Today, is a day of celebration for many other cultures as well.

We celebrate the sun being at it's highest point. Today is the longest day of the year. The most light enters into today.

Older Celtic traditions would celebrate today by dancing on hilltops, watching the sunrise, and rolling large wheels down a hill while they're on fire to mark the sun's eventual descent.

However you celebrate today, I hope you have a lovely day and many blessings for the rest of the year!
