The Power of No - Guided Meditation

I want to believe that all humans are good and true in their hearts. But the truth is that some people will take advantage of your compassion. It’s important to learn when to say no and establish healthy boundaries for your own health, as well as those around you.

Meditate on if there has ever been a time when you said yes, or agreed to something and it turned out to be a bad choice.

 

Now go through that moment again and imagine saying no to it.

 

How does it make you feel to say no and avoid that bad choice? 

 

The more you do this practice, the more you’ll notice when the time to say no is.

 

Any time you hesitate to make a choice to say yes or agree to something, tune in with your feelings, where are they guiding you. 

 

You have the freedom of choice in this world. Make a commitment now to use it wisely. 

 

Now finish up your meditation and return to your physical senses. 

Breathe in as deep as you can and exhale all the air out of your lungs. 

Open your eyes.
